Legal
The ground rules.
The terms for using this website. Client projects run on their own written agreement. This page explains how the two fit together, so nothing about working with us is left implied.
The short version
- Use the site normally. Don’t attack it, scrape it in bulk or copy our work and pass it off as yours.
- The site is information, not an offer. Prices, timelines and ownership are fixed in a signed agreement for each project.
- Once a project is paid in full, the code and designs we made for it are yours.
- Indian law applies, and disputes go to the courts at Surat, Gujarat.
01Accepting these terms
These Terms of Use apply to agneyasolutions.com and its pages, run by Agneya IT Solutions of Surat, Gujarat, India (“Agneya”, “we”, “us”). By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
If you use the site or send an enquiry on behalf of a company, you confirm you are at least 18 and allowed to act for that company.
How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
02Using the site
You may browse, read, share links to and print pages from this site for your own information. You agree not to:
- try to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers or the contact form’s back end, or test them for vulnerabilities without our written permission;
- overload or disrupt the site, including through automated bulk requests or denial-of-service attempts;
- scrape or harvest content or contact details in bulk, or use them to build datasets or train AI models;
- send spam, malware or unlawful content through the contact form;
- pretend to be someone else, or misrepresent your connection with any person or company.
If you find a security issue on this site, please report it to connect@agneyasolutions.com rather than exploiting it. We will take good-faith reports seriously and thank you for them.
We may block access for anyone who breaks these rules.
03Our content
The site’s design, code, text, articles, diagrams, animations, the Agneya name and the hexagon logo belong to Agneya IT Solutions, unless marked otherwise. You may quote short passages from our blog with a credit and a link to the original. Anything beyond that, including copying the site’s design or reusing our articles in full, needs our written permission.
Client names, logos, screenshots and testimonials in our portfolio belong to those clients and appear with their permission. Showing them does not give you any right to use them.
04What you send us
When you contact us, you confirm that what you send is accurate and that you are allowed to share it.
We treat enquiries discreetly and do not share project ideas with anyone outside our team. Sending a form does not, on its own, create a confidentiality agreement. If your idea or business information needs formal protection, ask us for a non-disclosure agreement before you send details. We are happy to sign one.
Please do not send passwords, access keys, production databases or other people’s personal data through the contact form. If a project needs access to your systems, we will arrange a secure way to share it.
05Client engagements
Our services cover design, engineering, cloud, security, AI and growth: websites, web and mobile apps, SaaS products, internal tools, APIs and integrations, automation, infrastructure, and security reviews. Every project runs on its own written agreement, usually a proposal or statement of work. If that agreement conflicts with these terms, the agreement wins.
Each agreement sets out the specifics. As a rule, our agreements work like this:
- Scope and price. We quote a fixed price against a written scope. The price changes only if the scope does, and only after you approve the change in writing.
- Milestones and payment. Work is split into dated milestones, with payment stages linked to them. Payment terms and taxes, including GST where it applies, are stated in the agreement and on each invoice.
- Your part. Timelines depend on content, feedback, approvals and access arriving when agreed. Delays on either side move the dates.
- Ownership. Once the project is paid in full, you own the code, designs and other work we created specifically for it. We keep the right to reuse our general know-how and our own pre-existing tools and components, which you get a permanent licence to use as part of your product. Open-source and third-party components stay under their own licences.
- Accounts and hosting. Domains, hosting, app store accounts and paid services are set up in your name, or transferred to you at handover. We do not hold them back.
- Confidentiality. We keep your business information and data confidential, during the project and after it ends.
- Portfolio. We may mention a finished project in our portfolio only with your permission. Say no and we will not show it.
- After launch. We fix defects in what we delivered for the period stated in the agreement. Ongoing maintenance, new features and infrastructure support are agreed separately.
- Ending early. Either side can end an engagement on written notice under the agreement. You pay for work done up to that point and receive that work.
06Information on the site
Our blog articles, FAQs and guides are general information, written carefully and dated. They are not professional, legal or security advice for your particular situation. Technology and threats change quickly, so check anything important before relying on it, or ask us.
Nothing on this site is an offer we are bound by. Any figures, timelines or descriptions of past work describe what we have done, not a promise for your project. Only a signed agreement commits either of us.
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we provide it “as is” and cannot promise it will always be error-free or online.
07Third-party links
The site links to other websites, such as our sources, our clients’ sites and our social media profiles. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices or availability. A link is not an endorsement unless we say so.
08Liability
As far as the law allows, Agneya is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website, such as lost profit, lost data or business interruption. This includes losses from relying on its content or from it being unavailable.
For use of this website, our total liability to you is limited to ₹10,000. Liability for client projects is set by that project’s agreement, not by this clause.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, such as liability for fraud.
09Indemnity
If you break these terms or the law while using this site, and a third party makes a claim against Agneya because of it, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs from that claim, including legal fees.
10Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000.
If a dispute arises, please contact us first. Most problems are solved faster by a conversation than a letter, and we will try in good faith to settle it within 30 days. If that does not work, the courts at Surat, Gujarat have exclusive jurisdiction.
11General
- Changes. We may update these terms. The version on this page, with its “Last updated” date, is the one that applies. Changes do not affect signed project agreements.
- Events outside our control. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events we cannot reasonably control, such as power or internet outages, hosting provider failures, natural disasters or government action.
- Severability. If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.
- No waiver. If we do not enforce a term straight away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later.
